You guys may have seen me profess my love for the original Beverly Hills, 90210 series on Videogum. No shame, I love that show. I own all the seasons on DVD, and they bring me great joy. Shout out, Season 1-4, you guys were the best! Anyway, the reason I started watching 90210 on CW was because of my love for the original series. You may or may not know, but some of the original cast appeared in the first season of the new series, including Kelly, Brenda and Donna. I came for the old cast and stayed for the cheesy drama.

Let me lay this out for you guys. I am going to recap the episodes, and I will give you background on storylines and characters when necessary. We are currently jumping into this end of season, so just deal with it ok?!

Monster Fit Club: Week 16

Welcome Back! I want to start off by reminding participants and also Monsters who are contemplating joining MFC that you don't have to have a weight loss goal to join. The majority of us are trying to lose pounds, but if you just want to lose inches that's fine too. If you just have a fitness goal you want to reach, jump right on in! If you do want to lose pounds, there is no need to share your actual weight. Just tell us how many pounds you are down and how close you are to your goal. MFC is whatever you want it to be...Let's do this!

We are getting super close to bikini season, so let's report on our progress.

I'd Hit That: Jimmy Fallon

I have said it time and time again. Funny guys are the best kinds of guys, and this week's subject is no exception.



Jimmy Fallon, you guys! This week is kind of also doubling as "Shows You Should Be Watching" sort of thing. Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is pretty much the cat's pajamas. Seriously, this show has some of the most original sketches and bits and is consistently better on a day-to-day basis than, say, Saturday Night Live is on a week-to-week basis. Quite often they make me laugh until I cry. From the audience and celebrity games to the recurring TV show parodies to the interviews, this show is solid gold.

Now we have seen all of my top 5 (Ryan Gosling, Jon Hamm, Paul Rudd, Jason Schwartzman), but one remains elusive, and today is his day to shine. Ladies and gentlemen, I present you with I'd Hit That: Dave Grohl.

One of my biggest regrets in life is getting shit faced before and during a Foo Fighters concert in Birmingham, AL in January 2008. I have vague memories of the show and I have tried and failed to piece together the events of that night time after time. The only thing I DO remember is being hit on by a lesbian when I went out on the smoke deck with my then fiancé, The Narrator. Try as I might, I remember no sweet tunage or sexy Dave Grohl ass. I am a so proud of everyone for sticking with the program, and I want to congratulate you on your results. HOWEVER, I have noticed that participation has been trailing off over the past month or so. If you will, please allow me to channel Coach Taylor for a moment...

Weight loss is a long difficult journey, and I know sometimes we all get off track, but you shouldn't give it up. If you are embarrassed that you fell off the wagon, don't be. It happens. You think it's easy?! IT'S NEVER BEEN EASY! (Now, I am John Locke instead of Coach Taylor!...back to Taylor...) Don't quit on me, don't quit on yourself. Fuck, I am just going to hand the reigns over to the man himself. Keep in mind, all these people are crying because you haven't come back to MFC.

My original plan had been to find a strip about food or bathing suits and replace Cathy with a skinny model in all of the panels, but I couldn't easily find one where I could make that work. This one just wrote itself, and I believe that the laziest path is often the best one.
