Foodin' With Lawblog: Dear Lawblog
Hi guys! I've gotten many requests for a general cooking advice column, so I'm totally swaggerjacking mtnsbeyondmtns. Does anyone have any specific problems with cooking that they would like me to answer? Stuff like "I ran out of vinegar? What can I use?" or "How do I keep my steak from drying out?" or even more general like, "How do I plan to cook for 8 people?" Whatever you want to know, I will do my best to answer. You can ask in the comments below or send me an email at thereallawblog (at) gmail (dot) com. Anonymous or otherwise is welcome!

I ran out of vinegar? What can I use?
ReplyDeleteOh lawblog, you are in for some frantic emails from me. Starting with "what is a pan?" and "My oven is hot - is this normal?"
ReplyDeleteGodspeed.
Where do you get your cooking ideas?
ReplyDeleteHow does one truly know that the bouche has been amused? When the recipe calls for safron, can I just use teriyaki sauce? In order to keep them authentic, my muscles should be a little sandy right? What's in the box? Walt?
ReplyDeleteHell. I have a severely limited selection for foods to eat and need suggestions on what to do with canned tuna, eggs...that's really about it. HELP ME
ReplyDelete@McEllen. Why the limited foods? Is it due to allergies/intolerances?
ReplyDeleteNo, no allergies. Just very poor and not the one who buys the groceries.
ReplyDeleteCool. Are you opposed to other canned things? Such as beans or chickpeas?
ReplyDeleteNope. Though I don't know how much access to those I'd have. I'm the least picky eater ever.
