  2. I feel if anything it is too acceptable. (full disclosure, I read most of it with the exception of the 5 billion page speech at the end. Ayn Rand, you fail 'show, don't tell' forever)

  5. i read this book because a boy i liked gave me my own copy (cool love interest, super). i read the whole dang thing but ended up drawing a bunch of penises all over the pages.

  8. An ex once gave me a copy of "The Virtue of Selfishness" (I had never read any Rand or been exposed to her or her fans before his introduction). Let me see if I can find the book so I can quote his inscription accurately... Found it!

    "I love you very much. I hope you find this book as useful as I have. May you always use reason as the tool with which you view the world."

    He often called me näive. The best proof of that is probably how long I stayed with him.

    ps - I never read the damn book.
