In this
Column we will try to bring you the weekly monster happenings going on
around the web.Around the web.
Recently our reluctant cult leader, Gabe Delahaye, has started his own website. There you can find links to his pre-gum blog and other stuff Gabe-related. Basically, he's making it really easy for us to stalk him (please don't hurt him, we need him to blog). If you are worried about this site's relation to Videogum, consult his FAQ. Also, he has a Facebook fan-page started by DS3M. Speaking of Facebook, Grace6697 has started a very noble cause for the advancement of humanity and the preservation of mother earth, please join.
If you live in NY, you might want to head over to Brooklyn and check out these honorary monsters every Wednesday.
For those monsters who miss Lindsay be sure to check out her Tumblr, also check her out on the twitter.

Winwood is the foremost art critic that I know, check out his writings on The Sunbreak.

Did anyone else feel PERSONALLY BETRAYED when the Videogum link to the Yo La Tengo thing went to a Stereogum post instead of my post that no one knew about?
ReplyDeleteWould you call what you felt PERSONAL BETRAYAL?
Asking for a friend.
I was pretty Bogified, and I almost commented, but the comments were closed? Also yeah, Stereogum ripped you off, no questions.
ReplyDeleteNot technically part of this week, but here's my write-up for our latest glimpse of the Goddess, Natalie Portman:

DS3, Vgum always closes the comments when it links to Stereogum. I think they want us to post over there instead? But almost nobody does because it's, well, the stereogum comment section.
ReplyDeleteDS: FWIW, I'm pretty sure the Stereogum post was up before the Splitsider post was up, based on the timestamp
ReplyDelete(Honestly, if I had seen it there, I wouldn't have bothered writing to Splitsider) (but I never read Stereogum, so).
